Ccotohuincho: tienda for Alicia’s family
Alicia had a dream of owning a store. With funding and parental involvement, an extra room in the family’s home was renovated into the store. She is using an adjoining room for her recently initiated weaving project with other teenage girls. The big picture is to use other rooms in the home to develop a youth center to provide vocational and educational opportunities for children. The goal is to provide a safe haven for the children of Ccotohuincho in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
